asantāpé sutápasau huve 'hám urvī́ gambhīré kavíbhir namasyè |
dyā́vāpr̥thivī bhávataṃ me syoné té no muñcatam áṃhasaḥ ||3||
I call upon the not-distressing, of excellent penance, wide, profound, to be reverenced by poets: O heaven- etc. etc.
