ádhi skanda vīráyasva gárbham ā́ dhehi yónyām |
vŕ̥ṣāsi vr̥ṣṇyāvan prajā́yai tvā́ nayāmasi ||8||
Mount thou; play the hero; set an embryo in the womb; virile (vṛ́ṣan) art thou, that hast virility; for progeny do we conduct thee hither.
