yám arāte purodhatsé púruṣaṃ parirāpíṇam |
námas te tásmai kr̥ṇmo mā́ vaníṃ vyathayīr máma ||2||
What wheedling (? parirāpín) man thou puttest forward, O niggard, to him of thine we pay homage: do not thou disturb my winning (vaní).
