sábandhuś cā́sabandhuś ca yó asmā́m̐ abhidā́sati |
téṣāṃ sā́ vr̥kṣā́ṇām ivāháṃ bhūyāsam uttamáḥ ||2||
Whoever, both kindred and not of kin, assails us, of them may I be highest, as this one of trees.
