yáthā sóma óṣadhīnām uttamó havíṣāṃ kr̥táḥ |
talā́śā vr̥kṣā́ṇām ivāháṃ bhūyāsam uttamáḥ ||3||
As of herbs soma is made highest of oblations, as the talā́çā of trees, [so] may I be highest.
