idáṃ yát preṇyáḥ śíro dattáṃ sómena vŕ̥ṣṇyam |
tátaḥ pári prájātena hā́rdiṃ te śocayāmasi ||1||
This head that is love's (? preṇí), virility given by Soma—by what is engendered out of that, do we pain (çocaya) thy heart.
