virā́ḍ vā́ idám ágra āsīt tásyā jātā́yāḥ sárvam abibhed iyám evédáṃ bhaviṣyátī́ti ||1||
Virā́j verily was this [universe] in the beginning; of her when born everything was afraid, [thinking] "this one indeed will become this [universe]."
