yáthā yáśo 'gnihotré vaṣaṭkāré yáthā yáśaḥ |
evā́ me varaṇó maṇíḥ kīrtíṃ bhū́tiṃ ní yachatu |
téjasā mā sám ukṣatu yáśasā sám anaktu mā ||22||
As glory [is] in the agnihotrá, as in the váṣaṭ-utterance [is] glory, so let the varaṇá amulet etc. etc.
