vedā̱ yo vī̱nām pa̱dam a̱ntari̍kṣeṇa̱ pata̍tām |
veda̍ nā̱vaḥ sa̍mu̱driya̍ḥ ||
He knows the path of birds that fly through heaven, and, Sovran of the sea, He knows the ships that are thereon.
