yat puru̍ṣeṇa ha̱viṣā̍ de̱vā ya̱jñam ata̍nvata |
va̱sa̱nto a̍syāsī̱d ājya̍ṁ grī̱ṣma i̱dhmaḥ śa̱rad dha̱viḥ ||
When Gods prepared the sacrifice with Purusha as their offering, Its oil was spring, the holy gift was autumn; summer was the wood.
