pro̱ṣṭhe̱śa̱yā va̍hyeśa̱yā nārī̱r yās ta̍lpa̱śīva̍rīḥ |
striyo̱ yāḥ puṇya̍gandhā̱s tāḥ sarvā̍ḥ svāpayāmasi ||
The women sleeping in the court, lying without, or stretched on beds, The matrons with their odorous sweetsthese, one and all, we lull to sleep.
