Served with oblation, kindled, bright, through love of song, may Agni, bent
On riches, smite the Vritras dead
His father's father, shining in his mother's ever-lasting side,
Set on the seat of sacrifice!
O active Jatavedas, bring devotion that wins progeny, Agni, that it may shine to heaven!
