sa eṣa prāṇa eva prajñātmedaṃ śarīraṃ parigṛhyotthāpayati /

This selfsame breathing spirit as the intelligential self seizes hold of and animates (_ut-thā_) this body. This therefore one should reverence as the Uktha.
