eko vaṭuko na dvitīyāya tasmai
ya imān lokānīśata īśanībhiḥ |
pratyaṅjanāstiṣṭhati sañcukocāntakāle
saṃsṛjya viśvā bhuvanāni goptā ||

The one Vaṭuka, not for a second [does he stand], / he who rules these worlds through his ruling powers; / facing inward he stands, he withdrew [all things] at the time of the end; / having emitted all the worlds, he is the guardian.
