yasmin krodhaṃ yāṃ ca tṛṣṇāṃ kṣamāṃ ca
hyakṣamāṃ hitvā hetujālasya mūlam |
buddhyā sañcitaṃ sthāpayitvā tu rudre
śāśvataṃ vai rudramekatvamāhuḥ ||
Renouncing anger, and thirst, and patience, / and impatience, the root of the web of causes, / and having fixed with intellect what has been gathered in Rudra— / they indeed speak of the eternal Rudra, of oneness.
