We know Kātyāyanī; we meditate on Kanyakumārī; may that Durgi inspire us. / Oṃ homage to the Blessed Māheśvarī, hrīṃ śrīṃ klīṃ, O wish-granting creeper, grant me the fruit of my desire; / may whatever is unfavorable to me perish; may whatever is favorable be mine. / We know the Great Goddess; we meditate on the consort of Viṣṇu; may that Lakṣmī inspire us. / Oṃ blīṃ hrīṃ śrīṃ klīṃ, O ruler of Brahman, protect me, protect me. / On the fifth lunar day, on the ninth, and especially on the fifteenth, / having recited the great knowledge mantra, one who desires fortune should recite [it] at all times.
