sa yadi lomāni vāpayiṣyamāṇo bhavati tāni brahmacāriṇe prayacchannāha imāni prācīṃ hṛtvā goṣṭhe vā darbhastambe vā nidhattād iti \

If he is about to have the body hair shaved, giving it to a Vedic student, he says: 'Having carried these eastward, place them either in a cow-pen or in a clump of darbha grass.'
