The earth is your dish, heaven is your lid; I offer you into the mouth of the Brahman; I offer you into the inhalation and exhalation of the Brahmins endowed with learning. You are imperishable; do not perish for the great-grandfathers in yonder world. Heaven is all around me; Āditya is the proclaimer so that what is given is not neglected. The Sāmaveda chants are your greatness.'
