śṛteṣu tredhā vapāṃ vicchidyodumbaradarvyā upastīrṇābhighāritāṃ juhoti vaha vapāṃ jātavedaḥ pitṛbhyo yatraitān vettha nihitān parāke \

When they are cooked, having cut the omentum in three, having under-spread and over-poured [clarified butter] with a ladle of udumbara wood, he offers: “Convey the omentum, Jātavedas, to the ancestors where you know them placed in the distance.
