- atho 'lūkhalamusale prakṣālya śūrpaṃ ca, paścād agneḥ prāgagrān darbhān āstīryo 'pasādayati.

He then washes the mortar, the pestle, and the winnowing basket, strews to the west of the fire eastward-pointed Darbha grass, and puts (the mortar, &c.) on (that grass).
