api ha sudāḥ paijavana aindrāgnena sthālīpākene 'ṣṭvā śataṃ sahasrāṇi dadau.

Thus Sudâs Paigavana, after having offered the sacrifice of a mess of cooked food to Indra and Agni, gave one hundred thousand (cows as the sacrificial fee).
