atha juhoti prajāpataye tithaye nakṣatrāya devatāyā iti.
He then sacrifices to Pragâpati, to the Tithi (of the child's birth), to the Nakshatra (of the child's birth), and to the (presiding) deity (of that Tithi and of that Nakshatra).
