- akṣatadhānā bhakṣayanti dhānāvantaṃ karambhiṇam iti,

They eat fried barley-grains with (the verse), 'That which is accompanied by grains and by a karambha (i.e. curds with flour)' (Sâma-veda I, 2 10).
