tasminn evā 'gnau śrapayaty odanacaruṃ ca mām̐sacaruṃ ca pṛthaṅ, mekṣaṇābhyāṃ prasavyam udāyuvan;

On the same fire he cooks one mess of rice-grains and one of meat, stirring up the one and the other separately, from right to left, with the two pot-ladles.
