yadi sārṣṭiṃ pravṛṇīte mānavaiḍa paurūravaseti hotā purūravovad iḍāvan manuvad ity adhvaryuḥ /

If he chooses [the formula indicating] equal status: 'O descendant of Manu, of Iḍā, of Purūravas!' the hotṛ [says]; 'Like Purūravas, like Iḍā, like Manu,' the adhvaryu [says].
