atha yadi pitṛvyeṇa jñātinaikārṣeyeṇa ye jātāḥ sam̐hitakulīnāḥ teṣāṃ parigrahītur eva bhavati /

Now, if those born through a paternal uncle or a kinsman of the same ancestral lineage are of unified family, [their pravara] belongs to the adopter alone.
