suparṇo 'si garutmān \ divaṃ gacha \ svaḥ pata \\ ity ukhyam udyāmyādhyadhi nābhim ukhāṃ dhārayamāṇas \\ viṣṇoḥ kramo 'si \\ itiprabhṛtibhiḥ prāṅ catuḥ prakrāmati //

Having raised the fire in the pot with "You are the fair-winged bird Garutmat, go to heaven, fly to the light", holding the pot above the navel, he strides four paces toward the east with [the formulas] beginning with "You are the stride of Viṣṇu...".
