cāraũ barana basaĩ tisa bīca. basahĩ chatīsa Paũni kula nīca.
bāmbhana chatrī baisa apāra. sūdra bheda chattīsa prakāra. //

All four varṇas dwell within it, and there dwell the thirty-six lower artisan classes:
innumerable Brahmans, Kṣatriyas, and Vaiśyas, and thirty-six kinds of Śūdra divisions.
