yeṣām arthe kāṅkṣitaṃ no rājyaṃ bhogāḥ sukhāni ca
ta ime 'vasthitā yuddhe prāṇāṃs tyaktvā dhanāni ca
teṇeṃ sukheviṇa hoīla |
teṃ bhalatehī sāhijela |
varī jīvitahī veṃcijela |
yācilāgīṃ ||

‘Whatever happens without that happiness
shall be borne in any way whatsoever;
even life itself shall be spent
for their sake.
