ahaṃ sarvasya prabhavo mattaḥ sarvaṃ pravartate
iti matvā bhajante māṃ budhā bhāvasamanvitāḥ
tarī mīci eka sarvā |
yā jagā janma pāṃḍavā |
āṇi majapāsūni āghavā |
nirvāho yāṃcā ||

I alone, O son of Pāṇḍu, / am the origin of all this world, / and from Me alone / proceeds the sustenance of all these.
