kalloḷamāḷā anegā |
janma jaḷīṃci paiṃ gā |
āṇi tayāṃ jaḷaci āśrayo taraṃgā |
jīvanahī jaḷa ||
The birth of endless series of billows / takes place in water alone; / and water alone is the support of the waves, / and their life is water.
