ātāṃ tīkha hoūnī mavāḷa |
jaiseṃ jātīceṃ mukuḷa |
kāṃ teja parī śītaḷa |
śaśāṃkāceṃ ||

Now, sharp yet tender, / like the bud of a jasmine, / or like light that is yet cool, / like that of the moon;
