ahiṃsā satyam akrodhas tyāgaḥ śāntir apaiśunam
dayā bhūteṣv aloluptvaṃ mārdavaṃ hrīr acāpalam
āṇi jagāciyā sukhoddeśeṃ |
śarīreṃ vācā mānaseṃ |
rāhāṭaṇeṃ teṃ ahiṃse |
rūpa jāṇa ||

And conducting oneself / with body, speech, and mind / for the happiness of the world: / know that to be the nature of non-violence.
