jaisī nāva thaḍiye ṭhākitāṃ |
jarī varapaḍī hoya duvārtā |
tarī cukalāhī māgautā |
apāvo pāve ||

Just as when a boat is reaching the shore,
if an adverse wind strikes it,
even having escaped before, it falls
into misfortune again,
