2.70

kīṃ maja pāhatāṃ urmī nohe |
he anārise gamata āhe |
to grāsilā mahāmoheṃ |
kāḷasarpeṃ ||

Or, to my eyes, it was no mere surge; / it appeared to be quite another thing: / he was swallowed by the black serpent / of great delusion.
