tumhāṃ varṇaviśeṣavaśeṃ |
āmhīṃ hā svadharmuci vihilā ase |
yāteṃ upāsā maga āpaise |
kāma puratī ||
“According to the distinction of classes, / we have ordained this very duty of your own; / worship this, and then naturally / your desires will be fulfilled.
