4.21

avhāṃṭaliyā āsthābuddhi |
viṣaya sukhaci paramāvadhi |
jīvu taisā upādhi |
āvaḍe lokāṃ ||

Faith and intellect have strayed onto wrong paths; / sensual pleasure is regarded as the ultimate goal; / and so, like the individual soul itself, limiting adjuncts / are what people cherish.
