ārurukṣor muner yogaṃ karma kāraṇam ucyate
yogārūḍhasya tasyaiva śamaḥ kāraṇam ucyate
ātām yogacaḷācā nimathā |
jarī ṭhākāvā āthi pārthā |
tarī sopānā yā karmapathā |
cukā jhaṇīṃ ||

Now, if you truly wish to reach / the summit of the mountain of yoga, O Pārtha, / then do not, by any means, / stray from the stairway that is the path of action.
