maga pratyāhārācā ādhāḍā |
jo buddhīciyāhī pāyā nisaraḍā |
jetha haṭiye sāṃditī hoḍā |
kaḍelaga ||

Then comes the cliff of sensory withdrawal, / where even the intellect’s feet slip, / and where resolute practitioners struggle, / clinging to the very brink.
