teṣāṃ jñānī nityayukta ekabhaktir viśiṣyate
priyo hi jñānino 'tyartham ahaṃ sa ca mama priyaḥ
tetha ārtu to ārtīceni vyājeṃ |
jijñāsu to jāṇāvayācilāgīṃ bhaje |
tijeni teṇeṃ icchije |
arthasiddhi ||

there, the distressed worships on the pretext of his distress; / the seeker of knowledge worships in order to know; / by the third is desired / the attainment of wealth;
