pāheṃ pāṃ dubhateyāciyā āśā |
jagaci dhenūsi karītāhe phāṃsā |
pari doreviṇa kaisā |
vatsācā baḷī ||
Look: hoping for milk,
the whole world puts a tether on the cow;
but see how, without any rope,
the calf holds sway over her!
