paiṃ buddhīcāṃ aṃgīṃ jāṇaṇeṃ |
teṃ jiyeciye javaḷikeceṃ karaṇeṃ |
jiyā ahaṃkārāceni viṃdāṇeṃ |
jagaci dharije ||
Indeed, the intellect's power of knowing / is brought about through its proximity; / by its artful skill of egoism / the universe itself is sustained.
