Jñāneśvarī (commentary on the Bhagavadgītā) 7.22

7.22

etadyonīni bhūtāni sarvāṇīty upadhāraya
ahaṃ kṛtsnasya jagataḥ prabhavaḥ pralayas tathā
te sūkṣma prakṛti koḍeṃ |
jaiṃ sthūḷāciyā āṃgā ghaḍe |
taiṃ bhūtasṛṣṭīcī paḍe |
ṭāṃkasāḷa ||

When that subtle Prakṛti, out of fondness, / takes on gross bodily form, / then the mint / of created beings is set up.
