erhavīṃ vikārāceni paiseṃ |
karī kīra iṃdriyāṃceyāci aiseṃ |
parī dharmāsi vekhāseṃ |
jāvoṃ nedī ||

which otherwise, by the power of passion, / surely acts according to the senses, / yet never allows dharma / to go astray;
