je apravṛttīcā avhāṃṭā |
sāṃḍūni vidhīciyā nighe vāṭā |
tevīṃci niyamācā divaṭā |
saveṃ cāle ||
which abandons the wrong path of prohibited action / and sets out on the path of ordained duty, / accompanied also by / the torch of self-restraint.
