jo paramātmāci pari dusarā |
je ahaṃkāranidrā nidasurā |
mhaṇoni svapnīṃciyā vorabārā |
saṃtoṣe śiṇe ||
who is indeed the Supreme Self, yet appears as another, / asleep in the slumber of egoism; / therefore, experiencing the illusions of a dream, / he is pleased and distressed.
