bahu mṛgajaḷa dekhoni ḍoḷāṃ |
thuṃkije amṛtācā giḷitāṃ gaḷāḷā |
toḍilā parisu bāṃdhilā gaḷā |
śaktikālābheṃ ||
Seeing much mirage-water with one's eyes, / should one spit out a draught of nectar as one swallows it? / Should one discard the touchstone and tie to one's neck / a broken piece of mother-of-pearl?
