taisīṃ ahaṃmamateciye lavaḍasavaḍī |
māteṃ na pavatī bāpuḍīṃ |
mhaṇoni janmamaraṇāciye duthaḍī |
ḍahuḷiteṃ ṭhelīṃ ||
Likewise, caught in the entangled snare of 'I' and 'mine', / the wretched ones do not attain me; / therefore, between the two banks of birth and death, / they remain tossed about in turbidity.
