Speaking to the charioteer upon seeing the rainy season.
kalittuṟai
O charioteer of the gemmed chariot which showed its shoulders on the mountain of Aruṇai,
where dwells the bull-rider wrapped in the Vedas who revealed Ayaṉ!
If the cloud that went ahead demonstrates victory, reveals its rage and bow,
and flashes lightning, roars thunder and shows dread,
will not the slender green vine, standing alone, be terrified?
