Seeing the kuṟavañci who came singing the grace
of the Kuṟṟālaliṅgar of the fine city where celestial drums resound,
Vasantavalli, her heart filled with joy, said:
“O maiden of shapely breasts, slender waist,
white smile, and coral lips!
Which mountain is your own mountain? Describe to me
the abundance of that mountain.”
